- Beschreibung: Auf der vom Mondschein beleuchteten Lichtung befinden sich zwei Figuren inmitten der Hinterlassenschaften eines Kriegsschlachtfeldes. Die linke Figur, in arabischer Kleidung, hält ein Schwert in der Hand und holt zum Schlag aus. Daneben sitzt eine ätherisch wirkende Frauengestalt. Es scheint, alsginge ein Leuchten von ihr aus. Sie ruht ins sich und hält den BLick gesenkt. Die Darstellung trägt die Bildunterschrift: „AFTER THE BATTLE“.

The figure on the left, dressed in Arabic clothing, holds a sword in his hand and is about to strike. Next to it sits an ethereal-looking female figure. It seems as if a glow emanates from her. She rests in herself and keeps her gaze lowered. The picture bears the caption: „AFTER THE BATTLE“.
