Unter der Darstellung signiert „Painted by Ja. Northcote R.A. / Elijah raising the widow’s son. / Engrav’d by Jn. Murphy.“

Das Blatt ist entlang des Plattenrandes knapp beschnitten, untere Ecke links abgerissen, jedoch auf der Unterlage erhalten und fixiert; oben mittig mit Randeinriss; Blattecken infolge der Montage mit Verfärbung, die gesamte Darstellung ist leicht berieben mit winziger Fehlstelle im Druck im Bereich des Ärmels, Hintergrund über Elias Kopf blass fleckig.

- Condition: Very good condition. The image makes a very good impression. The sheet is just trimmed along the platemark, lower left corner torn off, but preserved and fixed on the backing; upper centre with marginal tear; corners of the sheet with discolouration due to mounting, the entire depiction is slightly rubbed with tiny defect in the print in the area of the sleeve, background above Elijah’s head pale spotted.
