Auf einer Anhöhe am rechten Bildrand steht eine kleine Kirche. Der Hang ist dicht mit Bäumen bewachsen, ein Dach schaut zwischen den Baumkronen hervor. Die im Vordergrund flache Landschaft steigt im Hintergrund zu Hügeln an. Sehr schön modelliert der Künstler die Kulturandschaft mit ihren einzelnen Feldern und Wiesen mit wenigen, feinen Linien.
