Deschwander, Maler. / Lith. u. Kunsth. v. Gebr. C. u. N. Benziger in Einsiedeln.”. In der rechten unteren Blattecke nummeriert: “9725”.
Schöne Porträtdarstellung des Schweizer Benediktinermönchs Adalbert Regli (1880 Prato – 1881 Gries-Quirein). Von 1838 bis 1841 war er Abt des Klosters Muri im Kanton Aargau - Datierung: 1845

- Zustand: Guter Zustand. Das Blatt ist im Ganzen knickspurig und stockfleckig sowie stellenweise leicht verschmutzt. Entlang der Blattkanten sind Knickspuren und teilweise Bestoßungen zu sehen; mit winziger Einstichstelle im oberen Bereich des Rahmens. Die Porträtdarstellung macht einen sehr guten Eindruck.

Beautiful portrait of the Swiss Benedictine monk Adalbert Regli (1880 Prato – 1881 Gries-Quirein). From 1838 to 1841 he was abbot of the monastery of Muri in the canton of Aargau. - Date: 1845

- Condition: Good condition. The sheet is creased and foxed as a whole and slightly soiled in places. Along the edges of the sheet there are crease marks and partly bumps; with a tiny puncture in the upper part of the frame. The portrait makes a very good impression.
