Porträt des Jean-Charles Pichegru (1761 Arbois-1804 Paris), französischer General der Revolutionskriege; 1793 zum Général de division befördert; bei der Eroberung der österreichischen Niederlande und Holland kam ihm eine führende Rolle zu; er konspirierte später mit den Gegenrevolutionären und plante ein Attentat gegen Napoleon Bonaparte.; Ehrungen: Am Triumphbogen in Paris ist in der dritten Spalte sein Name eingetragen, in Arbois wurde ihm 1816 eine Statue errichtet. - Datierung: 19. Portrait of Jean-Charles Pichegru (1761 Arbois-1804 Paris), French general of the Revolutionary Wars; promoted to Général de division in 1793; he played a leading role in the conquest of the Austrian Netherlands and Holland; he later conspired with the counter-revolutionaries and planned an assassination attempt against Napoleon Bonaparte; honours: On the Arc de Triomphe in Paris his name is inscribed in the third column; a statue was erected to him in Arbois in 1816. - Date: 19th century
