Zeichnung des akademischen Bildhauers Rudolf Schmid, der gegen Ende des zweiten Weltkrieges seine sudetendeutsche Heimat verlassen musste und später in Marburg an der Lahn wirkte; von ihm stammt u.a. das eindringliche Mahnmal mit einer lebensgroßen betenden Familie für die Opfer der Weltkriege in Stadtallendorf bei Marburg.

- Zustand: Sehr guter Zustand. Das Papier ist altersbedingt verfärbt. Das Blatt ist stellenweise stockfleckig. Die Darstellung macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Im Randbereich leicht knickspurig, im oberen Rand stellenweise Einstiche infolge einer früheren Montage; kleiner Randeinriss unten links.

Drawing by the academic sculptor Rudolf Schmid, who had to leave his Sudeten German homeland towards the end of the Second World War and later worked in Marburg an der Lahn; his works include the haunting memorial with a life-size praying family for the victims of the world wars in Stadtallendorf near Marburg.
