In der Radierkunst führte er zahlreiche Neuerungen ein. Darstellung eines Mannes mit nackten Füßen im Lumpengewand; in einen Umhang gehüllt steht er im Freien, seine rechte Hand mit langen Fingernägeln hält er ausgestreckt. - Datierung: 1622

An etching from the series “The Beggars” by the French artist Jacques Callot, who was the most important graphic artist in France during his lifetime. He introduced numerous innovations in the art of etching. Depiction of a man with bare feet in a ragged robe; wrapped in a cloak, he stands in the open, holding out his right hand with long fingernails. - Date: 1622
