- Bezeichnung: Unterhalb des fingierten ovalen Rahmens befindet sich der Name des Dargestellten mit dem Titel des “Garde des Sceaux. et Premier Président”. Darunter ist das Blatt in der Druckplatte vom Künstler signiert. Die Darstellung stammt aus einer umfangreichen Serie berühmter Personen des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts von dem italienischen Künstler Vincenzo Vangelisti (um 1738 Florenz – 1798 Paris).

- Zustand: Sehr guter Zustand. Das gesamte Blatt weist Wellungen und schwache Verfärbungen auf. Entlang der Blattoberkante und der Unterkante befinden sich einige Flüssigkeitsflecken. Im rechten Blattrand befinden sich zwei punktförmige Löcher im Papier.

- Inscription: Below the faux oval frame is the sitter’s name with the title of the “Garde des Sceaux. et Premier Président”. Below this the sheet is signed by the artist in the printing plate. The depiction is from an extensive series of famous persons of the 17th and 18th century by the Italian artist Vincenzo Vangelisti (c. 1738 Florence – 1798 Paris).

- Condition: Very good condition. The entire sheet shows waviness and faint discolouration. There are some liquid stains along the top edge of the sheet and the bottom edge. In the right margin of the sheet there are two punctiform holes in the paper.
