Das Blatt hat die Originalgröße der Auslieferung des Sächsischen Kunstvereines.
Die Darstellung zeigt eine neapolitanische Fischerfamilie am Golf von Neapel. Eine Mutter gibt ihrem Kind die Brust, der Rest der Familie stärkt sich mit Speisen und Wein und genießt den schönen Tag. Das dem Vergnügen gewidmete Leben in Baiae, der antiken Siedlung am Golf von Neapel, war sprichwörtlich, etwa bei Ovid und Cicero. - Datierung: 1830

- Zustand: Sehr guter Zustand. Am unteren Rand leicht bestoßen und an den Rändern leicht verfärbt. Stellenweise leichte Flecken und leichte Knickspuren. Oben links, außerhalb der Darstellung, ist ein brauner Fleck festzustellen.

The depiction shows a Neapolitan fishing family on the Gulf of Naples. A mother is breastfeeding her child, the rest of the family is fortifying themselves with food and wine and enjoying the beautiful day. Life devoted to pleasure in Baiae, the ancient settlement on the Gulf of Naples, was proverbial, for example in Ovid and Cicero. - Date: 1830
