Deutscher Historienmaler und Porträtmaler. Er war Schüler von Adrian de Bie. Roos hielt sich namentlich in Mannheim, Straßburg und zuletzt als Hofmaler in Stuttgart auf. Er malte Bildnisse und Historien und radierte auch eine Folge kleiner Landschaften.
