- Bezeichnung: Unten in der Mitte der Titel: “ZY GEEVEL ten Zuyden, ten Noorden heestse een en de selve opstal” und ein Skalenstab: 200 Foot Maet. Nummeriert in der rechten unteren Ecke mit “Fig. F.” Bei dem Blatt handelt es sich um einen frühen Druck. Das bezeugt die waagerechte feine Entwurfslinie entlang der oberen Blattkante.

- Beschreibung: Das von Jacob van Campen 1642 bis 1648 errichtete ehemalige Amsterdamer Rathaus verbindet Elemente des französischen Schlossbaus (Pavillon-Trakt-System) mit einer palladianisch geprägten Akzentuierung der Mitte (Risalit mit Dreiecksgiebel). Das vorliegende Blatt zeigt eine Frontalansicht der Nordseite.

- Zustand: Guter Zustand. Das Papier ist altersbedingt verfärbt. Das Blatt ist stellenweise stockfleckig. Entlang der Blattkanten bestoßen und vereinzelt eingerissen. Die Blattecken sind durch Stoßspuren und Knicke beschädigt. Das Papier ist stellenweise leicht knittrig. Die Darstellung macht einen guten Eindruck. Das Blatt lag ursprünglich einem Buch als Beilage bei. Das bezeugt der rückseitige Klebestreifen und die vertikale Knickfalte über die Mitte des Blattes. Am unteren Blattrand hat die Knickfalte einen 3 cm langen Einriss verursacht. Mittig oben eine minimale Fehlstelle.

Numbered in the lower right corner with “Fig. F.” The sheet is an early print. This is attested by the horizontal fine design line along the upper edge of the sheet.

- Condition: Good condition. The paper is discoloured due to its age. The sheet is foxed in places. Bumped along the edges and occasionally torn. The corners are damaged by bumps and creases. The paper is slightly creased in places. The image makes a good impression. The sheet was originally enclosed with a book. This is evidenced by the adhesive strip on the back and the vertical crease across the centre of the sheet. At the lower margin the crease has caused a tear of 3 cm. At the top centre a minimal missing part.
