- Bezeichnung: Links hebt sich eine steile Böschung empor, rechts stehen junge Baumsetzlinge dicht beieinander. Die Figurengruppe in der Druckplatte er Mitte wird dadurch wirkungsvoll gerahmt.
Auf der Unterlage befindet sich recto der unbekannte Sammlungsstempel “EK” (Lugt Nr. 3549), verso der ebenfalls unbekannte Sammlungsstempel “SK” (Lugt Nr. 3574).

- Beschreibung: Auf einem schmalen Weg durch den Wald wandern ein Mönch und ein junger Novize in braunen Kutten mit einem Esel.

- Zustand: Hervorragender Zustand. Die Farbigkeit ist frisch erhalten. Die dunklen Farbflächen weisen ein feines Craquelée auf. Die zarte Verzierung des Blattrandes ist vereinzelt minimal beschädigt.

- Inscription: On the left a steep slope rises up, on the right young tree saplings stand close together. The group of figures in the printing plate in the centre is thus effectively framed.
On the backing there is the unknown collection stamp “EK” (Lugt no. 3549) on the recto, on the verso the likewise unknown collection stamp “SK” (Lugt no. 3574).
