- Beschreibung: Gelungenes Landschaftsbild mit Ausblick von einer erhöhten Ebene in ein tiefes Flusstal im alpinen Gebirge. Auf der Standebene des Künstlers ist ein kleines Gehöft mit markantem Wegekreuz zu sehen. Durch gekonnte Bläuung und Verwischen der Konturen wird perspektivische Tiefe erzielt. Unten links ist das Monogramm des Künstlers eingekratzt.

- Description: Successful landscape painting with a view from an elevated plain into a deep river valley in the alpine mountains. On the artist’s standing plane a small farmstead with a prominent wayside cross can be seen. Perspective depth is achieved by skilful bluing and blurring of the contours. The artist’s monogram is scratched on the lower left.
