Die pittoreske Teilansicht von Brüssel zeigt die prächtig verzierten Häuser mit ihren barocken Fassaden und Giebeln rund um den “Grand Place”, der das Zentrum der Stadt darstellt und in die Liste des Weltkulturerbes der UNESCO aufgenommen wurde; zu sehen ist unter anderem das gotische Rathaus mit dem großen Belfried sowie die Kathedrale St. Michael und St. Gudula, die Hauptkirche der Stadt Brüssel und Sitz des Erzbischofs von Mecheln-Brüssel. - Datierung: 1837

This picturesque partial view of Brussels shows the magnificently decorated houses with their baroque facades and gables around the “Grand Place”, which is the centre of the city and has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List; among other things, the Gothic City Hall with its large belfry can be seen, as well as the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, the main church of the city of Brussels and seat of the Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels. - Date: 1837
