Veräußerungsstempel, Duplikatsstempel Germansiches Nationalmuseum. Nürnberg - Bezeichnung: Unterhalb mit dem Namen des Dargestellten bezeichnet. Darunter in der Druckplatte vom Künstler signiert und auf 1794 datiert. Rückseitig befindet sich der Sammlungsstempel des Germanischen National-Museums in Nürnberg (Lugt Nr. 2809) sowie der Duplikatsstempel “Dupl. des Germ. Mus.”.

- Beschreibung: Brustbild im Halbprofil, mit hellem, überraschtem Blick von der Lektüre aufsehend. Zeigt den Bürgermeister der Stadt Leipzig, der sich vor allem um das Schulwesen und die städtebauliche Gestaltung Leipzigs verdient gemacht hat.

- Zustand: Sehr guter Zustand. Blass stockfleckig und auf dem Blattrand leicht verschmutzt. Oben links leicht wellig. Die linke untere Blattecke ist schwach bestoßen und minimal eingerissen. Entlang der rechten Blattkante sind einzelne kurze Randeinrisse erkennbar. Die Darstellung macht einen frischen und tadellosen Eindruck.

- Condition: Very good condition. Pale foxing and slightly soiled at the margins. Slightly wavy at upper left. The lower left corner of the sheet is slightly bumped and minimally torn. Single short marginal tears are visible along the right edge of the sheet. The image makes a fresh and perfect impression.
