Das Blatt stammt aus einer Sammlung von Zeichnungen und Skizzen eines begabten Amateurkünstlers, der in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts vor allem im süddeutschen, französischen und Tiroler Alpenraum tätig war und eine Vielzahl an Natur- und Architektumotiven hinterlassen hat. - Beschreibung: Vom Rande einer kleinen Ortschaft blickt der Künstler über einen Mühlteich mit alter Wassermühle auf die Häuser des Ortes. Der hohe Kirchturm sowie die großen Fachwerkhäuser mit steilen Dächern künden von dem nicht unbedeutenden Wohlstand der Einwohner.

- Zustand: Sehr guter Zustand. Das Blatt ist altersgemäß leicht verfärbt. Die Blattkanten sind teils unsauber beschnitten. Entlang der linken Blattkante sind mehrere kurze Randeinrisse zu sehen. Die rechte untere Blattecke ist minimal umgeknickt.

The sheet comes from a collection of drawings and sketches by a talented amateur artist who was active in the second half of the 19th century, especially in the Southern German, French and Tyrolean Alpine regions, and who left behind a large number of nature and architectural motifs. - Condition: Very good condition. The sheet is slightly discoloured due to its age. The edges of the sheet are partly uncleanly trimmed. Several short marginal tears can be seen along the left edge of the sheet. The lower right corner of the sheet is minimally folded.
