- Beschreibung: Nach einer Vorlage von Georg Daniel Heumann (1691 Nürnberg – 1759 ebd.). Halbporträt im Halbprofil des deutschen Gelehrten in faltenreichem Gewand in einem antikisierend verklärten Studierzimmer sitzend. Seine rechte Hand weist auf einen Apparat auf dem Tisch vor ihm. Im Hintergrund ist ein antikisierender Säulenfuß sowie ein Quecksilberbarometer an der Wand zu sehen. Unter dem kunstvoll gerahmten Bildnis ist das Wappen des Dargestellten abgebildet sowie ein lateinischer Text mit Namen, Titeln und Geburtsdatum Hollmanns.

- Zustand: Sehr guter Zustand. Stellenweise ist das Blatt altersgemäß verfärbt. Vereinzelt sind blasse Stockflecken erkennbar. Entlang der linken Blattkante befinden sich zwei restaurierte Randeinrisse. Rechts unten ist die Papieroberfläche entlang der Kante etwas beschädigt.

- Description: After an original by Georg Daniel Heumann (1691 Nuremberg – 1759 ibid.). Half-portrait in half-profile of the German scholar in wrinkled robe sitting in an antique transfigured study. His right hand points to an apparatus on the table in front of him. In the background, an antique column base and a mercury barometer can be seen on the wall. Below the artistically framed portrait is the sitter’s coat of arms and a Latin text with Hollmann’s name, titles and date of birth.

- Condition: Very good condition. In places the sheet is discoloured due to its age. Pale foxing is visible in isolated places. There are two restored marginal tears along the left edge of the sheet. On the lower right the paper surface is somewhat damaged along the edge.
