- Beschreibung: Eine Landschaftsdarstellung, die vier Personen und einen Hund am Wegesrand zeigt. Eine Figur sitzt zur Rast auf dem Boden. Schräg hinter ihr steht ein Kind mit einem Hut in der Hand. Eine stehende Figur vor dem Kind hält einen Wanderstock in der rechten Hand. Die linke Hand streckt sie dem Kind entgegen, als wolle sie ihm den Hut abnehmen. Hinter der Figurengruppe wurde eine zweirädriger Handwagen abgestellt, auf den eine weitere Figur steigt, um etwas aus einer beladenen Kiste herauszunehmen. Im Vordergrund des linken Bildrands ist eine Felsformation abgebildet. Zum rechten Bildrand hin erstreckt sich ein kleiner Hügel mit Wald. Im Hintergrund lässt sich eine Ortschaft erkennen, die wohl das Ziel der Reisenden darstellt.

- Zustand: Akzeptabler Zustand. Das Blatt ist stockfleckig und zeigt Staub- und Schmutzflecken. Der Rand ist bestoßen und bräunlich verfärbt. Auf Höhe der Wolkenformation durchzieht ein gräulicher Strich die Abbildung. Der Stich und und wurde 0,7cm vom Plattenrand beschnitten. An der oberen rechten Ecke leicht knittrig und mit kaum wahrnehmbarem, diagonalem Knick oben links.

- Description: A landscape depiction showing four people and a dog by the wayside. A figure is sitting on the ground to rest. Diagonally behind her is a child with a hat in his hand. A standing figure in front of the child holds a walking stick in his right hand. She is holding out her left hand to the child as if to take his hat. Behind the group of figures, a two-wheeled handcart has been placed on which another figure climbs to take something out of a loaded box. A rock formation is depicted in the foreground of the left edge of the picture. Towards the right edge of the picture there is a small hill with a forest. In the background a village can be seen, which probably represents the travellers’ destination.

- Condition: Rather good condition. The sheet is foxed and shows dust and dirt stains. The margin is bumped and brownish discoloured. A greyish line crosses the image at the level of the cloud formation. The engraving and and has been trimmed 0.7cm from the platemark. Slightly creased at the upper right corner and with a barely noticeable diagonal crease at the upper left.
